Wool-silk clothing

Baby clothes and clothes made of silk-wool blends are especially suitable for sensitive skin. They combine the good qualities of both materials.

Merino wool comes from the merino sheep, is finely crimped, very cuddly and particularly soft. Wool hairs are protein fibres, they are similar in composition to human skin. Sheep's wool, also known as woolly hair has fine scales lying on top of each other in steps, these are characteristic of sheep's wool. If treated incorrectly, the outer scales can become entangled with each other, so that the scales become tightly interlocked, i.e. the wool felts.

Wool and silk absorb up to 35% of their own weight in moisture. Clothing made of wool and silk does not feel wet even when it gets damp. Wool repels dirt and water, has a temperature-balancing and regulating effect, it naturally contains fat and is very elastic.

Silk is very similar to skin

Silk is particularly skin-friendly and tempering. Silk is very robust and very tear-resistant, it dries quickly, is light and wonderfully cuddly.

Wool can regulate itself with oxygen-rich air. Due to its dirt-repellent properties, frequent washing is not necessary!
