Wool is particularly elastic, dirt and water repellent, has a temperature-balancing and heat-regulating effect and thus enables good regulation of skin respiration.
Wool warms reliably
Wool can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in moisture, yet the garment does not feel wet and is reliably warm at the same time. Baby wool clothing warms better than most other materials.
Airing instead of washing
Airing the garment, ideally outdoors, is usually sufficient. Due to its dirt-repellent properties, washing too often is unnecessary!
Woolen garments should be washed gently and by hand, do not wring or rub them, otherwise they will become matted.
In the production of Hocosa baby clothes, only fabrics from organically controlled cultivation (cotton kbA) and organically controlled animal husbandry (wool kbT) are used. The Hocosa company, based in Switzerland, produces underwear from the finest natural fibres for babies, children and adults.
