Soapstone can be wonderfully worked, polished and decorated by hand. Sculptures, small amulets or figures can be created. This set contains everything needed to create true works of art from soapstone. The rough shape can be worked out with the rasp, everything can be smoothed with the sandpaper and fine lettering or patterns can be engraved with the engraving needle. The gloss oil for rubbing into the shape or figure gives the workpiece the final shine. Detailed instructions included.

Soapstone is particularly soft and easy to work with, making it the perfect material for children. With little effort and a little patience, beautiful things can be created.
