Handwriting exercise books for the reading books "The whole world is colourful".

Cursive handwriting enables individual expression. Personal handwriting continues to develop throughout life and evolves into a very individual handwriting. Experience has shown that various factors are very important for successful learning of cursive handwriting.

The manifold forms of the initial Latin script are artistic, aesthetic and enable a differentiated rhythmic writing movement. The initial Latin script is a real writing script that enables a flowing writing movement starting from the baseline.

The liveliness of handwriting cannot be conveyed by a computer script that is always the same. Thus, in exercise books 1 and 2 Schreibschriftschreiben mit Salome, all texts are handwritten. This reduces frustration, because children cannot do justice to standardised computer scripts.

Lightly coloured syllable sheets in the exercise books help to recognise the syllables in the words and support the child's sense of rhythm in writing and reading.

Before real writing, the exercise books take up the basic forms as a band form, in this way the letters are first practised as pure forms.

The exercise books are not a substitute for practising the ribbon forms as in a form drawing period which should precede learning to write.

The exercise books "Schreibschriftschreiben mit Salome" can support teachers at Waldorf schools or other primary schools in introducing cursive writing!
