Material info:

Wool is particularly elastic, dirt and water repellent and has a temperature balancing and heat regulating effect. Clothing made of wool warms better than any other material. Skin breathing and fabric exchange are regulated. Wool absorbs up to 35% of its own weight in moisture, yet the garment does not feel damp and yet warms reliably at the same time.

Due to its dirt-repellent properties, frequent washing is unnecessary; airing outdoors is sufficient.
Woolen garments should be washed very carefully by hand in lukewarm water; do not wring or rub them, otherwise they will become matted.
