Stockmar opaque paint box - 12 paint tablets in a tin case.

The finely coordinated opaque colours in proven Stockmar artist quality are ideally suited for use in Waldorf kindergartens and Waldorf schools. The artistically designed metal paint box contains 12 water-colourable pain ts with unique luminosity, a tube of opaque white, a removable mixing palette and a high-quality, dimensionally stable brush made of Ponex synthetic hair. Since both the paint pellets and the mixing palette are not permanently integrated in the box, they can be used quite practically wherever they are needed. Due to the high concentration of colour pigments, the opaque colours are even more productive and remain colourful even when heavily diluted.

Colours have an immediate effect on people, especially on children in their first and second year. The composition of the colours is based on Goethe's extended colour wheel. The fine coordination of the Stockmar colours results in harmonious colour tones when mixed. The three primary colours yellow, red and blue form a triangle in the arrangement in the paint box, and the secondary colours green, orange and violet, which are mixed from them, find their place between them. The mixture of the primary colours with the secondary colours results in the extension of the colour wheel, e.g. with red-violet and yellow-orange. Since there are two colour tones of each primary colour in the paint box, the colour spectrum and the mixing variety are increased and the children can immerse themselves in an imaginative, playful and creative handling of the colours.
