This folding rule, also called a metre rule, is used to measure lengths and is part of the basic equipment of a toolbox for children. This folding rule measures 1.0 metre when unfolded. The links of this metre rule lock firmly at 90° and 180°, so it can also be used as an angle. This metre rule is well made and sturdy and can be used for the first handicraft work.
When using a folding rule, the child develops a good feeling for numbers and measures of length. Exact measuring and measuring is practised.
