Pocket Planetarium

Pocket planetarium made of wood an experimental kit by Kraul, for children from 12 years, with instructions.

This pocket planetarium is a clearly designed astronomical aid. This small planetarium illustrates the course of the sun, moon and planets. Magnetic discs of different colours show the constellations in the zodiac. By turning the zodiac disc, the movements of the sun, moon and planets in the sky are shown.

The pocket planetarium by Kraul gives an overview of what is happening in the sky, so you can see the position of the zodiac, which planets are currently visible and when they rise and set again.

In this way, children can learn and visibly experience how the sun and the moon have to be in relation to each other in order for the different phases of the moon to occur.
