About the author: Daniela Drescher, born in 1966 in Munich. After various stays abroad and working in the field of curative education, she trained as a painting therapist. From her many years of therapeutic work with children, she developed her numerous picture books, through which she has become known worldwide. Daniela Drescher is married and mother of four children. The story of the beautiful Lau  according to Eduard Mörike was awarded the title of Picture Book of the Month by the German Academy for Children's and Youth Literature in Volkach in March 2009.
