Slowly an unexpected bond develops between Mrs. Silberstein and Lennard. She listens gratefully when he reads to her from Tschick, thus introducing her to the world of young people. As time goes by, she too tells more and more about her life and her terrible experiences in the concentration camp. Lennard realizes: If he does not listen to her, no one else will. And then there is the stolen mobile phone that cut off Mrs Silberstein's contact with her relatives. The search for the address seems hopeless, as do Lennard's efforts to win Lea over. But then almost everything changes, by 180 degrees ...
