His work covers a wide range of topics including the history of human civilization, the economy and the ecological movement. According to Eisenstein, global culture today is entangled in a destructive history of separateness, and one of the main goals of his work is therefore to offer the alternative history of connectedness. Many of his works are inspired by Eastern thought and the spiritual teachings of indigenous peoples. Eisenstein is associated with the Occupy movement, the new economy and the permaculture movement. Thomas Hardtmuth, born in 1956, is a physician, freelance author and lecturer for health sciences and social medicine at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University. He grew up in Heidenheim, graduated from the Waldorf School in 1974, studied human medicine at the TU and LMU Munich. Since 1985 medical activity at various clinics in southern Germany, most recently as senior physician for surgery and thoracic surgery at the Klinikum Heidenheim. Hueck, born 1961, studied biology and chemistry, doctorate in genetics, research in vaccine development in Germany and the USA. Many years of involvement with anthroposophy. Waldorf teacher, lecturer in Waldorf education and anthroposophical meditation. Editor of the journal Die Drei and co-founder of the AKANTHOS Academy for anthroposophical research and development. Publications on biology and anthroposophy, the foundations of anthroposophy and Waldorf education. Andreas Neider Andreas Neider, M.A., born 1958, studied philosophy, ethnology, history and political science. He worked for 17 years in the publishing house Freies Geistesleben, first as an editor and then as a publisher. Since 2002 head of the cultural agency Von Mensch zu Mensch. For 14 years organizer of the annual Stuttgart Education Congresses. 2015 Co-founder of the Akanthos-Akademie Stuttgart e.V.
