Encaustic Art

Encaustic Art is a 3000 year old painting technique whose colours are of a unique luminosity. The term Encaustic comes from the Greek and stands for the ancient painting technique in which colour pigments were dissolved in hot wax and applied to the painting surface in a special process. A painting technique that cannot be compared with any other.
