The parlour game Forest Shadow Game is suitable for children from 5 years and is a very atmospheric family game.Especially in the darker half of the year, games evenings become a magical experience.The game board is a beautifully designed puzzle of 6 pieces.The play figures, little wooden dwarfs with pointed hats and small and large wooden trees make this game a particularly fairytale-like experience.In the fairytale forest, the dwarf is looking for the other dwarfs and has to hide from the light in the shadows.

History of the Kraul family business

In the 1920s, Mara Kraul laid the foundation stone of the Kraul company, which is still family-owned today.With the help of home workers, artistic knitting and embroidery were created.After the Second World War, her son Walter Kraul developed the first ideas for designing toys.The first mobiles were made in traditional handicraft.

Walter Kraul, then a Waldorf teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School in Munich, began to develop ropeways and waterwheels, inspired by his work and diverse experiences of nature with his children.These first toys are still part of the Kraul company's product range today.New toys were always created based on the four elements: earth, water, air and light.In 1989, the grandson of the company founder Christoph also joined the company.As a meteorologist and physicist, he designed experimental kits.In these experiments, too, the basic concept of the four elements is continued in a technical-scientific way.

Today, Kraul employs about 10 people as permanent staff and freelancers.Up to 20 more in homeworkers and as temporary workers.Kraul products are made in cooperation with 2 workshops where people with disabilities are involved in the production processes.
